I've purchased some new anime selections this week. I picked up the first volume of Lucky Star! It's very amusing and I can't wait for the next DVD. Konata is a girl after my own heart! XD It's sad I understand all the gaming excuses and the night-before cramming for tests and such.


The other anime I picked up was Golden Boy. It's a classic dating back from the glory days of 1995. Has it been that long already?

Anyway, I've been wanting to see this for a long time. I saw they had the complete 6 episodes on DVD at Best Buy and well, you just can't pass it up. Murphy's Law and all. If I didn't get it then, it would've been gone when I came back for it.

Anyway, I have an unusual impression of the anime. Needless to say despite how late it is and that I have work in the morning, I had to watch all 6 episodes without pause. I found it very funny. The animation was pretty good quality for its time and while a bit perverted, the stories were oddly touching in some cases.

Clearly some good work was put into it. It's kind of a let down that it was only 6 episodes long, but that's about the length of a feature animated film and well, it did have a "final" episode where everything got tied up.

It was inspiring and I find it odd to say that about such an anime that had so much humor, and well, perverted sexual innuendo in it. But yeah, it was good. I recommend it to anyone!
